TALIA TUCKER is a writer, poet and sometimes a CEO based out of New Jersey. She writes and edits freelance and her work has been featured in various online publications as well as in her self-published poetry collection ADAM and her adult children’s book I Just Wanted to be a Cat.
She has a novella currently being published by Running Wild Press slated for a Fall 2019 release.
She also has a BA from Rutgers University and a MALS from Loyola University Maryland if you care about that sort of thing.
Talia was born in 1991 in Washington D.C. to a Korean mother and a Jamaican father. Her mixed race inspires a lot of her writing. She was raised in Central New Jersey (yes it’s a real place, she calls it Taylor Ham, and she’s too far west to have a Turnpike Exit) but she’s also called Baltimore, Washington D.C., and Barcelona home. Her experiences in these places live in her writing as well.
Random facts about Talia: all of her furniture points towards her television, she has a portrait of Kanye West on her wall, her cat’s name is Bowie.
